RRB Group D Exam Pattern for 2nd Stage PET
When scores from the computer-based test come in, applicants move forward to a physical efficiency assessment. For each available spot, only three times that number will get invited to participate. This rule applies across every region based on job requirements listed by RRBs or RRCs. Still, higher authorities at Railways Board can adjust these limits – up or down – depending on actual demand. Every candidate must clear the Physical Efficiency Test – it’s non-negotiable, passing counts as passing, nothing more, nothing less. Criteria sit like this:
| Male Candidates | Female Candidates |
| Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down | Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down |

RRB Group D Exam Pattern for 3rd Stage: Document Verification
After the test, those who did well in the CBT might get invited for paper-based evaluation checks. Qualifying there leads straight to paperwork review. Selection here depends entirely on how each person performed during assessment day.
For the shortlisted group, employment clearance must arrive by interview date – any absence leads to disqualification. Identical signature patterns apply across every form submitted, using either English or Hindi options.
